T.I.C. at Mining Indaba, 2018
11 February 2018
At the 2018 Mining Indaba in Cape Town, South Africa, representatives from the T.I.C. met with leading participants from the mining industry and promoted the interests of the Association's members.
The T.I.C. President and Director met with several mining ministers and other senior government representatives to discuss niobium and tantalum production in their respective countries. There were also a large number of potential and current tantalum and/or niobium mining companies in attendance, many of whom we hope to meet again at the T.I.C.'s conference in Kigali, Rwanda, later this year.
Indaba is the leading conference for mining and mineral exploration in Africa, dedicated to the successful capitalisation and development of mining interests in Africa. Located in Cape Town, South Africa for over 20 years, this event unites investors, mining companies, governments and other stakeholders from around the world to learn and network, all toward the single goal of advancing mining on the continent. It is focused on supporting education, career development, sustainable development, and other important causes in Africa.
