Preparing for your visit to Yinchuan
The 67th General Assembly brings together members, prospective members and industry experts for the Annual General Meeting, technical presentations, social events and visits in and around Yinchuan. This page contains the main information you will need before and during the conference.
Registration Desk
Open from 15:00 to 18:00 on Sunday 13 September.
Welcome Reception
From 18:00 to 20:00 in the conference area.
Gala Dinner
Cocktails and dinner from 19:00 to 22:00 in the ballroom.
Plant and Winery Tour
Ningxia plant visit, lunch and Suji Winery experience.

Conference Delegates
Member company delegates
The AGM begins at 08:30 on Monday and is restricted to delegates from member companies. All delegates from a member company may attend, but only one delegate from each company may vote.
Voting delegates must sign in on arrival and should allow enough time to collect their voting papers before the meeting.
Non-member attendees
Attendees from non-member companies may attend a maximum of two annual conferences as observers or prospective applicants. Membership will be required to attend future conferences.
Accompanying Persons
Accompanying persons are invited to the Welcome Reception on Sunday and the Gala Dinner on Monday.
- Private sightseeing tours are arranged for Monday and Tuesday.
- Tours include an English-speaking guide and private transport.
- On Wednesday, accompanying persons may join delegates for the Suji Winery visit.
- Practical clothing and comfortable shoes are recommended for tours.
Gala dinner and Wednesday tour
Gala Dinner
Delegates and accompanying persons are invited to cocktails and the GA67 Gala Dinner in the ballroom at the JW Marriott Yinchuan.
Plant and Winery Tour
Delegates are invited to visit Ningxia Orient Tantalum Industry Co., Ltd., followed by lunch and a visit to Ningxia Helan Mountain Suji Winery.
JW Marriott Yinchuan
All General Assembly meetings, receptions and conference functions will take place at the JW Marriott Yinchuan.
Booking and cancellation
Reservations may be cancelled or reduced without charge before 23:59 local hotel time on 8 September 2026.
Cancellations after the deadline will incur a charge of RMB 990 for single occupancy or RMB 1,100 for double occupancy.
Accommodation is not included in the meeting fee. Hotel charges, meals and services outside the conference programme must be settled directly with the hotel before departure.
Travelling to the hotel
Official taxi ranks are available at both Yinchuan Hedong International Airport and Yinchuan Railway Station.
Yinchuan Hedong International Airport
Taxis are available outside the Arrivals Hall throughout the day and evening. The journey to the JW Marriott takes around 30 to 40 minutes and normally costs RMB 80 to 120.
Yinchuan Railway Station
Taxis are available from the designated rank outside the station. The journey to the JW Marriott normally takes around 10 to 15 minutes.
Show this to your taxi driver
Keep a copy of the hotel's name and address in Chinese. Ride-booking services such as DiDi are also available through Alipay and other mobile payment applications.

Practical information
Currency
China uses the Renminbi, also known as the Chinese Yuan. Carrying some local currency is advised for taxis and smaller businesses. Alipay and WeChat Pay are widely used and may be linked to international bank cards.
Weather
Conditions are generally warm and sunny, with daytime temperatures around 22 to 28°C and evening temperatures around 10 to 14°C. Bring a light jacket or sweater for evenings and the Wednesday tour.
Internet
Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available in guestrooms, meeting spaces and public areas of the hotel.
Power Supply
China uses a 220V, 50Hz electrical supply with Type A, C and I sockets. Delegates should bring a universal travel adaptor.
Insurance
Delegates must arrange their own insurance, including suitable travel cover. The T.I.C. cannot accept liability for accidents or incidents.
Clothing
Light business clothing is suitable during the day. Comfortable shoes and practical clothing are advised for tours. Carrying an umbrella is recommended in case of rain.
