2021 AGM REPORT
The 2021 AGM took place on Monday November 15th as part of the 62nd General Assembly. Given the very special circumstances, with many members prevented from travelling to London due to Covid, companies could choose to vote either by email (in advance) or in person at the AGM. The meeting was quorate and held in full compliance with the Association's Antitrust Compliance Policy.
During the AGM, motions were passed including approval of the Minutes of the Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM), held virtually on October 12th 2020, approval of the audited accounts for the year ended April 30th 2021 and the budget for the year May 1st 2021 - April 30th 2022.
Three companies were elected as new corporate members of the association (MinTerra FZE, MTALX Ltd, Orano Nuclear Packages and Services). One company transferred corporate membership (from Ximei Resources (Guangdong) Ltd to Ximei Resources Holding Ltd) and six did not renew corporate membership. Full details in Bulletin 188 (January 2022).
The members voted the following twelve people onto the Executive Committee for the forthcoming year: Mr Fabiano Costa, Mr John Crawley, Ms Silvana Fehling, Mr Ronald Gilerman, Mr David Gussack, Mr Jiang Bin, Mr Janny Jiang, Mr Dharam Kotecha, Mr Raveentiran Krishnan, Mr Robert Marchiando, Ms Candida Owens and Dr Daniel Persico.
Of these twelve, Dr Daniel Persico was re-elected as President of the T.I.C. for a further term.
This conference gathered a smaller audience than normal, due to the travel restrictions imposed by Covid-19, however, it was wonderful to see face-to-face all the delegates that were able to join us in London.
